It seems like only yesterday that we were seeing excellent 2000s comedies and thrillers. And we adored the film's young and skilled stars. It's been over 20 years, and some of these performers are now Hollywood celebrities, while others didn't fare as well but remain in our hearts.

Ashton Kutcher (43 years old)

Many people are familiar with Ashton Kutcher from the films Dude, Where's My Car? and The Butterfly Effect. He's usually done comedies, although he's also dabbled with drama, such as Jobs.



Robert Sheehan (33 years old)

Robert Sheehan became recognized after playing Nathan in Misfits. He's appeared in Mortal Engines and Bad Samaritan, and he's now in Netflix's blockbuster series The Umbrella Academy.

Adam Sandler (54 years old)

Adam Sandler is one of today's richest actors. You may recognize him from the films 50 First Dates, Happy Gilmore, and Big Daddy. But today, Sandler is a hugely successful actor and filmmaker, with his film Murder Mystery becoming a Netflix sensation. Sandler and Netflix have a deal for four future films.



Aaron Taylor-Johnson (30 years old)

Aaron Taylor-Johnson rose to prominence in the bizarre action flick Kick-Ass. He's also appeared in Anna Karenina and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Johnson's career is advancing swiftly; he just participated in Outlaw King, a historical drama, and Christopher Nolan's blockbuster, Tenet.

Owen Wilson (51 years old)

The actor was a comedic star in the 2000s. He's been in a number of memorable films, including Shanghai Noon, Shut In, and, of course, Marley & Me. Wilson is continuously making movies and displaying his amazing theatrical talent.



Matthew McConaughey (51 years old)

Matthew McConaughey continues to astound us with his incredible transformations after becoming recognized as the hero of love films. In Dallas Buyers Club, he earned an Academy Award for "Best Actor," and his character in True Detective became iconic. One of his most recent accomplishments was playing a businessman in The Gentlemen.
