You must have seen these logos of super popular Hollywood studios! But we bet you mustn't have ever recognized the hidden secrets inside these logos! Wanna know what are these secrets? Well, we are about to tell you the same!
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
Most of the people in this world recognize this ever so popular logo of MGM. The logo has seen tremendous amount of development ever since its inception! Right from the start it has featured five different lions on its logo: Slats, Jackie, Tanner, George, and Leo. The last is their current star.
Warner Bros
Warner Bros is arguably the biggest entertainment company in the world. When you look at its logo, it comes across as a pretty straight forward one! But there's something you don't know! Warner wasn't their real last name. The parents of the movie studio’s owners were immigrants to America from the Russian Empire, and their real last name was Wonskolaser. Over the years it became Warner!
Castle Rock Entertainment
There is a lot to know about this company and its logo! The company got its name from the nonexistent town of Castle Rock that often features as the setting for King’s novels. Its logo shows the lighthouse from the 1993 horror movie based on King’s book of the same name, Needful Things. Super intriguing, right?
Pixar
We all know how popular is Pixar, don't we? Also how amazing its logo looks! But did you know that its logo appeared as a result of the studio’s first successful movie. People liked “Luxo Jr.," an animated lamp from one of their short films made in 1986, so much it ended up replacing the letter â€i" in their name. Wow!
DreamWorks Pictures
DreamWorks Pictures has given memorable starts to a lot of blockbusters. The logo for DreamWorks was originally meant to show a man sitting on the Moon fishing. The artist commissioned to draw it, Robert Hunt, decided to do an additional version with a child instead of a man. And just like that, we got an iconic logo!
Columbia Pictures
A lot has been speculated about the popular woman and more so about the lamp in her hand! Interestingly, it emerged from a combination of different references. The most recent version, dating from 1992, is based on an image of an ordinary American housewife, Jennie Joseph, although her facial features were significantly altered for the final picture.
