Women all around the world are nothing but an inspiration. They have the power of withstanding anything and everything in this world. These 5 women are the perfect example of the same. They did not give up no matter what!

Malala Yousafzai

This Pakistani women's right activist has seen much more than what girls of her age all around the world do! She's been a victim of anti social elements! Seeing her in the latest Friends Reunion episode was a nice change! She's made a name for herself through all the thick and things she's gone through in her life.

Mikayla Holmgren

Mikayla Holmgren is one of the most inspirational women you will ever see. She is the first woman with Down syndrome to compete in the Miss Minnesota pageant, received the Miss Minnesota USA Spirit Award and Director’s Award. She brought tears in so many eyes with her uplifting spirit and never to give up attitude! Look at her, isn't she the prettiest?

Bethany Hamilton

Have you ever heard of anybody almost losing their life and yet becoming one of the biggest things in their profession? At the age of 13, Bethany Hamilton barely escaped with her life after a vicious tiger shark attack. The encounter left her with one arm. But this couldn't stop her from doing what she always wanted to do. She continued surfing, became a national champion and was second in the World Junior Championship.

Liz Murray

Liz Murray was homeless and definitely in wrong hands. She was a gang member. At the age of 15, after her mother passed away and her family moved to a homeless shelter, Liz was all alone on the streets, sleeping on benches. She became an “A” student at her school and even graduated from Harvard University. Today, she is a super famous author. If this isn't inspiring, I don't know what is!

Cody Hall

This will probably go down as one of the most inspiring stories ever. Cody was born in UK with a severe facial deformity. At the age of 1, she had her first surgery. Over the next 14 years she endured 18 operations. This is how she looked when she was born!

After going through all this, she was determined to have an ordinary life. She did! In fact, she is living an extraordinary life! Cody currently works on a surgical ward at Kettering General Hospital, and she married her high school sweetheart earlier this year. Describing her big day, she said, “I just want to show people that there is a happy ending.” There indeed is!
