Parenthood by far is the best thing which can happen to anyone. We are sure parents who are reading this would agree with us. The unbridled joy of watching your young ones blossom into something beautiful is a feeling which cannot be described in words. Many couples feel complete only with the arrival of their baby such is the unmatched happiness kids provide. But as is with everything beautiful, it has its fair share of challenges. And parenting nowadays is as big a challenge as any in the world. To be or not to be strict is something which is constantly in every parents mind. Are we getting too involved, are we getting too much under their skin, these questions keep the new age parents on their toes, especially when their children are going through the teenage years. There is no prefect formula which says this method of parenting works and this doesn’t, it is best left to each individual to figure out what works for them. Here is a case of a letter a dad discovers in his daughter’s room and a gamut of emotions are passed by him while reading it.

It is often always said that the daughter is always more closer to her dad as compared to her mom, while this may seem as quite a generalised statement since many daughters confide in their mothers only as opposed to the popular perception, but there is something about the daughter-father relation which makes it special and one would literally not be able to put a finger and say why.

Father gets the most emotional

While its been ages and we have well passed with the time where boys were the need and beck and call of kids every time but not anymore.

Girls light up a home like no other, their energies their voice fill up a room with positivity and that's one of the reason why fathers are more happy with the arrival of a female child in the house.

And it is no more a surprise that they are so emotionally invested in them that they feel their absence the most.

But slowly as the clock starts ticking and kids start entering their teens therein lies the biggest challenge as a parent, you don't exactly know the millennial language their issues their highs their lows so you can seldom expect to relate to they queries.That is the time you realise that hang on we need to be friends with them to understand whats running on their minds.

You wish the best for them always

No matter what the primary concern for every parent irrespective of their kids age is that they remain healthy eat well have a good diet and a fit body rest everything is secondary.

But a parent secretly wishes that their child has a good bunch of friends who will help their kid sail through teenage.

Now this is seriously a pretty good story

The father in this story was looking for his 16 year old daughter, but instead found a letter lying on her bed that he read with trembling hands!

Steven was walking through his house, looking for his teenage daughter Anna. He was feeling low after watching his favourite team crash out last night, and was going to suggest to his daughter that they go buy some ice cream together.

His daughter had been in her room upstairs just a few hours ago, but now her shoes were missing in the hallway.

He walked up to her room, only to find the door open. On her bed, he saw a hand-written note.

This is what it said: “Dear Mom and Dad, I’m sorry to have to tell you like this, but I’m eloping with my new boyfriend

I’ve finally found my true love, and he’s just great! I especially love his cute piercings, scars, cool tattoos and his big motorcycle!

And that’s not all – I’m expecting a child with him, and I’m already three months pregnant. We’re going to settle down in his trailer, and he says that he wants even more children. I’m so happy!!! And guess what? We’re going to get married next week!

He’s also explained to me that substance isn’t as bad as some people make it out to be, so now we’re growing 17 plants behind our trailer. We’ll have enough for him and his friends, and in return, they’ll give us as many as we want.

Please don’t worry about money – his friends are in the movie business, and they’ve arranged for me to become an actress!

The job pays pretty well, 50 dollars per take, and I get another 50 if there are more than three men in the same scene. So don’t worry about me – I’m 16 years old and can take care of myself.

The next time I come to visit, you’ll get to see your grandchild!

But the note at the end made him realise how his daughter had pulled a quick one on him.

Anna wrote, "P.S. Dad, none of this is true – I only popped over to Emma’s place to watch some TV. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than The Patriots losing to The Eagles!"
