Technology is taking huge strides every passing day. There is so much new in the market but unfortunately, we are yet to understand fully what is already in the market. There is so much that we continue to believe but is untrue! Here are some such examples!
You should always disconnect the USB correctly
Remember how everybody would ask you to follow the correct steps before ejecting the USB from your system? So let us tell you that it ain't entirely true. If no activity is happening, you can just remove it without any hassles! Safely removing it is only mandatory when saving items because your computer then checks all changes have been saved and that there is no transfer going on with the USB.
You have to charge a new phone for more than 8 hours
This is another thing that we firmly believe in! Every time we buy a new phone, we charge it for at least 8 hours before we start using it. This was the case when Nickel-cadmium or Nical batteries were used and which had a chemical memory. With Li-on batteries, you are pretty much save! With modern gadgets, you are pretty much covered on this aspect!
No Charging your Phones Overnight
You know how we never keep our phones to charge overnight because we believe it will ruin our battery in the long run? The reality is that all modern smartphones have Lithium-ion batteries. Once they are fully charged, they will stop drawing power and charging so it doesn't really matter to be honest!
Mac Computers are unaffected by Viruses!
We also believe that Mac computers are completely unaffected by viruses! This is a laughable fact! No computer is ever safe from viruses unless they have firm anti virus software in place.
Incognito mode protects your data
Here's another myth that we would sincerely like to burst! IT DOES NOT! Let's end the discussion right here. The mode only deletes locally stored data. The reality is that all your external websites and internet providers can still easily track your data.
'Refreshing' your system makes tasks faster!
If this was true, no system would ever hang. So no, you are living in a bubble which isn't true by miles to be honest!
