125 years is a lot of time. Our world has changed drastically in last 125 years. In order to understand how much change we have seen, we have put 7 images of the same place in England side by side to note the difference! The result is lovely!

Liverpool – St. George’s Hall

If you have ever been to Liverpool, you know this place. The area between Lime Street railway station and St. George’s Hall opposite (on the left of the picture) is a rare example of a barely-changed landscape in this part of the city. Its just that a lot of cars have found their way in!

London – Victoria Embankment

There definitely has been a lot of development over the years but you got to say that this place had a different charm altogether back in time.

Newcastle – Black Gate and Castle

This is another place that has remained almost as it is over the years! The only addition is motor cars and people! I wish we could see all these places before globalization hit them!

Worthing – Marine Parade

A massive difference, isn't it? Yes, it has changed over the years. The pavilion survived a gale that washed away much of the pier in 1914, but disappeared behind the bigger and more modern Pier Pavilion built at the shore end in 1926, which dominates today’s photo. Every new decade has seen a new development and a change!

Bristol – St. Augustine Parade

This place has been there since 1470. For several centuries the church tower was an urban space landmark that seafarers could use to guide themselves to Bristol Harbour. Commercialization has made this place pretty cramped up for sure!

Manchester – Victoria Street

Another very popular place in UK is Victoria Street in Manchester. The difference is in front of you. What do you think?
