Most of the world has a real father. But the ones who don't either live a life without a father or with a step father. Not everybody is on peaceful term with their step father. But Hudson's story is different.
Kurt Russel and Kate’s mother
Let us look into the past for both of them. Kurt and Goldie first met on the 1968 set of The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, and even though there was an instant attraction between the 2 of them, the timing wasn’t right until they met again in 1983 and started dating. Both of them were with their respective partners when they first met each other.
As Strong As Ever
Till date, this amazing couple is living a life on their own terms. They shared a home and put together a big happy family without tying the knot. Its been over 4 years and they are yet as strong as ever.
Relationship From Childhood
After ex-husband Bill Hudson left the picture, Kurt took over and accepted his new role as a partner and a father to Kate and Oliver. And since that day, this one has been one strong family to be honest.
Loving and Adorable
Goldie recalled Kurt’s amazing interaction with her kids when they were coming to set, saying, “He was amazing with them, he was such a natural.” And when you look at these images of them together even today, you know Goldie has a point.
Lucky
She once said: “This is a man who made his family his number one priority his whole life. Never missed a school play, a soccer game, a hockey game, a dance recital, and the list goes on and on”. Clearly Kate and her siblings are lucky to have a Father like this.
The Birthday Post
For Kurt's 70th birthday, Kate dedicated a post to express her love and gratitude to her beloved father. “Always get back on the horse, kinda dad. Never miss a show or game, kinda dad. Kids before anything, kinda dad... He’s an original. One of kind. A powerful, intelligent, talented, loyal family man. He has taught me that we can all exist with immense love through our differences.”
Their relationship proves that you don't always need a real Father and bursts the myth that every step Father is bad.
