The condition of Women in India was really pathetic in the history but the good news is, it has improved very much till now. And all thanks to the promoters of feminism. Since the time, the concept of feminism is introduced in India, people started taking women rights seriously

It has surely helped women in the betterment of their survival in the nation but they still have to face double standards of society on daily basis.

1. A man can act like whatever he feels like and if he is a little dominant in nature he is considered to be an excellent leader and determinant but when a woman does it then all of a sudden it is not ok and she is bossy and arrogant. But if she works the other way around and is really shy and not outspoken then she is considered to be weak and fragile.

2. Offices are really tough for the women survival. If the same amount of work is done by man and woman then man will be paid the same amount of money for the same work and woman will be paid less just because she is a woman.

3. Promotions are not even considered in the case of woman no matter how much they work in the office or spent day and night for the sake of the growth and development of their company.

4. The household work and managing children are automatically considered as woman’s work. Whether they are tired or sick they have to do it all by themselves because if she won’t do it then who will?

5. Even if the man doesn’t have a job or work less than a woman then also he will not do any household work because according to them, only women are made for the kitchen.

6. No place is safe for the woman, not inside the doors nor outsides. Women have to face molestation, sexual harassment in offices, workplaces, and in worst scenario possible, in houses too. And even if they try to raise their voice against it, they are tamed by the society.

7. Socially active males are called as Studs and Cool-guy in our society but when a woman is outgoing then she is called slut or attention seeker.

8. A Fat woman has to face more insulting comments from the people than a fat man will ever hear. Her weighty issues always come in between her achievements and her dreams but it is never a problem to a man.

9. And of course, the age also matters but only in case of the woman. How many times have we seen young Hollywood actors starring against a man in his mid-40s? Like a lot. Right? But you will never see this thing the other way around.

10. The complexion of the woman also matters a lot. Especially when she is getting married. People in India always demands a fair daughter-in-law and fair wife for their son. But they never care about the complexion of the man.
