Some designers have a truly whacky sense of design. Sometimes things that look outrageous to the rest of the world seem perfectly beautiful to these artsy types. Many make the mistake of assuming a well designed element will also be just as useful but little do they know - Utility is not fancy it is plain and simple! These ten designers totally forgot the utility factor of a simple space like a bathroom and messed it up royally!

CARPETED FLOOR!

Who doesn't love a good carpeted floor to walk on, right? What if we told you you could avail these facilities of walking on a smooth carpet even in your bathroom!? Umm, not sure how many of you would be stoked about something like this - This young woman certainly was not! Her dad renovated the upstairs bathroom with carpet and she literally saw hygiene nightmares beginning!

TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT!

Public urinals can get challenging, especially if your sink is too close to the other dude's. We get it that we signed up for less privacy when we walked into these bathrooms, but please spare us minute details of our neighbors atleast at this point in our lives. No?

BAD PAINT JOB FOR A WASHROOM!

Okay whoever painted this really needs to be told to stop their artistic endevours. Painting a washroom in this "style" should be banned. It clearly doesn't help those looking for hygiene and basic cleanliness!

WHO NEEDS A MIRROR?

This bathroom has the funniest mirror ever. Its like the designer never wanted to show people how they really looked so he took the one job he had, and messed it up. What greater good was he intending to do here?

IN CASE YOU FORGOT TO WASH YOUR HANDS!

This dude just fixed a sink on the bathroom door so no one, NO ONE, would ever walk out of this bathroom without washing their hands clean. Life can be tough, but here is a very smart designer teaching us the tricks to outsmart life (and dirty people!)

STRESSFUL!

This design is so stressful it may just cause someone a panic attack. Who would voluntarily walk into this place and think of having a quiet, peaceful bath?
