Stealing is not something anybody should be proud of. It certainly isn't something that should be sensationalized. But then, there have been some thieves in the history who've been so smart that you got to speak about their mind at least once. That is exactly what we are about to do now.

As we mentioned this earlier, we do not endorse any form of robbery or an ill activity like this. But there have been some crazy smart thieves in the history and we are just talking about them and their minds. The list is pretty interesting.
Jesse James
This person was famous for train and bank robberies. There are even pictures directed on the big screen on this thief starring Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck. He was a genius when it came to changing his appearances, devising a story and robbing in the most unusual ways. Raised in the "Little Dixie" area of western Missouri, James and his family maintained strong Southern sympathies.
Clyde and Bonnie
We all have head of them and their ways of wrong doings. Like other famous and notorious thieves, even Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Elizabeth were a couple that were known to perform havoc across the United States. A lot of film industries have made a lot of movies on them.
Doris Payne
She only stole for 5 years but till date, people talk about her. Payne targeted numerous high-end boutiques and stores. She made a lot of money by acting as a wealthy customer looking for her engagement ring and then resulting in a big robbery. She was so smart that nobody could ever catch her. She was only imprisoned for 2 years when she was 83 years old.
Carl Gugasian
With a net worth of $2 million stolen money and goods, he is a famous historic thief. You can imagine how smart he was with the total net worth he gained.
Albert Spaggiari
Have you seen Catch Me If You Can? Well, it was based on this man. His biggest robbery was the one done in Societe Generale where he and his team entered through an 8-meter tunnel dig closed to the sewer. Well, fun fact, they were arrested.

Fun Fact about him, he actually didn't sell all the books he would steal. He was once caught red-handed and was imprisoned for 4 and a half years. He continued to practice this business after being released from prison.

Yes, there has been a gang in the history with this name. This was a gang who operated well and became popular in the 1960s and 1970s. The gang was actually started by 2 brother-in-laws, Dominick Latella, and Peter Salerno. While one of them kept the guests busy in fine dining and completing the dinner. The other used to break into the house and steal jewels and money.
Colton Harris-Moore
While most of the famous robbers of history carried robberies in banks, Harris-Moore was famous for robbing hundreds of private residences, boats, small aircraft, and cars. An interesting fact about him is that he would go about his business are foot.
Butch Cassidy
Butch Cassidy was the leader of one of the famous robbery gangs, Wild Butch Gang. Along with his partner Sundance Kid, the couple was famous for famous historic robberies. For most of their lives, they kept running from the law and finally left the world in a shootout in Argentina.
