When we watch any film, we are so engrossed in it that some of the most basic errors escape our vision. It is only when someone points it out that we end up revisiting these films and truly seeing it for what it is. Strange, but fascinating, isn't it?

FORREST GUMP!

This movie is undoubtedly a favorite not just for us but for a whole lot of them around of world. Not only is the movie well made, but also well researched and contemplated on. Take for instance this small thing of a shirt. Forrest is seen in blue chequered shirts at the beginning of each life phase - be it school, teenager and even when he is a grown adult. Forrest's son, towards the end of the movie also wears a similar shirt like his father!



THE GODFATHER!

This movie is undoubtedly a classic and created a space for niche cinema with untold stories. No one thought that gangster films could do this well, but it did rake in big bucks. Turns out, the film was more "real" than we give it credit for. In fact in the scene where Don Corleone is dancing during the wedding, the crowd around him was actually the underworld mafias with their families. In fact, the film proved to be iconic in the sense where most members of the underworld were actually cast for actual filming!

ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST!

In this American psychological comedy-drama film from 1975, everything is real and life like. So much so that even the hospital in which they shot is actually still a functioning Mental Asylum in Oregon. Well, there were actual patients used during the filming of this film too. Woah, this is one big revelation!



SILENCE OF THE LAMBS!

This movie is bound to send shivers down your spine. But would you believe it, even the poster did so. If you look closely, you'd see a skeleton surrounded by butterflies. Well, the skeleton itself is made up of 3 women who are baring it all! Creepy and shocking, isn't it?

SCREAM!

Ghost films can get real spooky. Well this one, did for a bit. Remember Edvard Munch's iconic oil painting - Scream? Well the figure in the image is distorted, screaming for its life with its ears closed. In the 1996 film, this same character is brought to life and called Ghostface. The resemblance is uncanny!



FRIENDS!

If you followed the show carefully or if you even watched just one episode, you'd know that Joey (Matt LeBlanc's character) was perpetually in debt. He owed most of his money to Chandler (Played by Mathew Perry) One of the fans, calculated this "debt" through the entire show and it came to a whopping $119,760. Tough friendship, guys!
