From an incredible exterior to the most beautiful interior, a lavish kitchen, swimming pool, living area, lush gardens, the mansion had it all. Living in such a mansion would surely be a dream come true for many. However, this couple did not moved in the mansion. Reportedly, they had another thing in their mind. However, these plans were kept at bay soon after. Reportedly, the couple got married in September 2012 which was almost immediately after winning the lottery and welcomed their first child two years after the wedding. They were very generous to their family and friends after their lottery winnings, they had also bought a house for a close friend and took various holidays to Spain and New York. Their life seems to be in a complete bliss, but the mansion they purchased is surely not in a good condition.
Trespassers are the most frequent visitors in the house which have attracted the police at least a dozen times to the house. The lush green garden, which once was, is now no less than a jungle, graffiti litters the walls and the 1930s home which was previously known as “Rainbow House” has been deemed an eyesore to the neighborhood.
The toilets of the house are also ruined and the exposed drains have also called in rats and rodents. The neighbors clearly don’t have anything good to say about it too.
“The Tophams have shedloads of money and should be spending some to end this farce — or at least on security”, one of the neighbors had said.
The owners of this mansion are now faced with the decision to completely destroy the house to end this unfortunate happenings and it is indeed sad to see so much money put to waste. Their plans are currently before local council for approval.
There are a lot of homeless people out there and hence when you see fortunate people waste money like this, it is really heartening at different levels! What do you feel about this? Share your views in the comments below!
