China is a country which everyone is curious about. Their rules and little unique facets have made the world curious all the times. But there are a few things that China does so differently that it makes it stand out!
SKIN COLORS!
The Chinese are not racist, they are just ethnically impolite. Don't get us wrong - but if you hear them generally speaking amongst themselves, and happen to understand their language you would realize they casually mention terms like "chocolate / coffee/ vanilla" for actual people. That's the skin color they are talking about!
AGE NO BAR!
Drinking and smoking is socially acceptable. In fact this country consumes these two products at the maximum levels. They also do not have any rules about selling these products to teenagers. However, strangely despite this large scale freedom, you will not find a lot of youngsters on the streets smoking/drinking. This is perhaps because of the social norms!
NO TOUCH POLICY!
Unless they are meeting foreigners for formal meetings or meals, Chinese do not like the idea of contact. They only shake hands when absolutely professional and that too only with non-Chinese people.
PAJAMAS ARE A FORMAL WEAR!
While the world struggles with their formal clothing styles time and again, changing it almost every season, China has its own fashion rules. For instance, wearing pajamas for formal business outings is considered okay!
WOMEN IN THE ARMY!
Chinese are famous for their women workforce in the Army. In fact, amongst all countries, China recruits the most amount of women. They usually assume roles in medical or support departments. They make upto 5% of the entire military staff but the women are given great education, facilities, opportunities thus there are more takers for the same!
BOYS ARE OBSESSED WITH THEIR LOOKS!
If you thought vanity was just a woman's game think again. You are in 2020, a year that has proven to be the firsts for many reasons. Men and their fashion statements being one of them. Chinese men take their physical appearance very seriously, especially if they are the younger generation!
