There are many rock bands that exist but there are some that are cherished forever even after they get separated. One such band is Linkin Park. The lead singer, Chester Charles Bennington was an American singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. Apart from Linkin Park, he served as lead singer for the bands, Dead by Sunrise, Grey Daze, and Stone Temple Pilots.

Chester Bennington is a legend and we will forever cherish him for his contribution towards music.

Linkin Park singer helped people through dark times because he was upfront about his own.

The Childhood

Chester was born in Phoenix, Arizona to a mother who worked as a nurse and a father who was a police detective dealing. He was a normal middle-class kid, having a pretty hand to mouth existence.

There are very few pictures of Chester as a child!

But his talent had later made him a legend.

When he was 11...

He was only 11 when his parents divorced and his dad ended getting his custody.

Chester was totally broken and when he couldn't deal with his parent's separation he gave in for drugs, doing marijuana, alcohol, opium, cocaine, methamphetamine, and LSD from a very young age. Not an ideal childhood you bet!
