Airlines are a cool place to work in you might think - good money, get to travel all the time etc etc. But think about this, there are secrets in every industry and the airline industry is no different. There are so many things the airhostess and pilots keep away from their flyers just so that it does not create panic or confusions. Isn't it out right to know though?
WATCH WHAT YOU DRINK
As you go higher in altitude, the more significant effect alcohol tends to have on your brain. Which is perhaps why intoxication and flying is never such a good idea. Having said that, most airlines allow people to mix drinks themselves, a point that should be rethought of especially considering the guests health risks!
WINDOW PANES
You know how they ask you to open the panes while taking off and landing? Well that is simply so that they can analyze which side of emergency door to be pried open when necessary. This is also a great way to wake people up finally!
EMERGENCY SLIDER!
Each time the flight announces an emergency it loses soooo much money. Yes you got that right! Opening and closing of that emergency slider costs a lot of money in heavy dollars and that doesn't come easy. So most of the time when you pay a ticket fare for the flight, high chances you are being charged for this one of situation!
WATER WOES!
Water is the easiest thing to contaminate ever and trust us, these flights are not the best place to source your glass of water from. Even the bottles they hand out to you could be contaminated and carrying water from a tap that has not been disinfected in years. No wonder flying regularly makes people either really sick or really immune to diseases!
SALARIES ARE TIGHT!
If you thought all flight attendants and pilots earned a lot of money think again. They only get paid for their hours in air. Not on land - So for example if you are a flight attendant and have 2 flights in a day with an hour of a break in between, high chances, even though you are stuck in a random airport for work, you are not getting paid for those "ground" hours!
GERM HUB!
Airlines are the worst places to contract diseases. Especially since we are all in the midst of a pandemic now. The seat pockets are infested with all kinda germs. People leave behind their damp tissues, food, waterbottles, toiletteries and what not and trust us, it is not a good thing to touch surfaces that have other people's germs on them!
