At one point in time, we have all loved and this song has been the anthem for all of us. My Heart will go on, the song that every movie buff who loved the Titanic has grown to this catchy and relatable tune. Céline Dion has given us the most beautiful tune to groove to and an anthem for lovers. It’s the most iconic song and we can always picture Jack and Rose to stand on the edge of the Titanic board and have their moment and this couple had their moment in the dance that they skated around on the same iconic tune. They unmatched chemistry left the audience in awe and they are worth every applause.
My heart will go on...
The song, 'My heart will go on' is sung by Celine Dion and everyone is a fan of this beautiful song! The song is an iconic one just as the movie it was themed in for! It just lived on... Just as ever wedding event and a ceremony where a couple has highlighted this song is the go-to song! Likewise, there are many performers who love to perform on this song too!
The couple who performed
This couple Alexa Scimeca-Knierim and Chris Knierim, who are ice skaters and a real-life couple too decided to perform on the same song and the routine had the audience's hearts pour out with emotions!
Chris was tossing Alexa into the air
As the whole crowd waited for the performance to start they knew the performance is going to lit! Alexa and Chris started their performance while being too close to each other and as the music started they floated around the stage flawlessly! Chris was tossing Alexa into the air and catching her as they skate around on the ice.
Flawless skating
Flawless skating is what the couple graced us with but it is not very easy as it seems and it needs years of practice and dedication and besides that, love for the performance. Their bodies move together and match the music, their passion spoke out in this performance!
The won the national title
This amazing unmatched chemistry showed off very well and the audience loved it. This couple has been skating together since, 2012. They began dating a short time later, got engaged in 2014, and were married in 2016. Alexa and Chris train together in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the Broadmoor World Arena with Larry Ibarra, Dalilah Sappenfield, and several other coaches. They even won their first national title in 2015.
Their achievements
Alexa was very ill in 2016 and people wondered if she'd ever come back to performing on ice. She herself was not sure she would return to ice skating ever! But in 2017, she did her comeback and they won their second national title. In 2018 Winter Olympics, where they won a bronze medal was one of their best achievements. They were the only U.S. pair team at this Olympic Games.
