This dance style called, Boogie Woogie dates back in the 1950’s and it was often linked up with Rock and Roll. It had it’s fair share of time back then but now it is not common anymore. It is also associated with swing dancing. It is quite t=fun to learn this style, it is based on a six beats pattern and is not really choreographed in the competitions. It is all about the chemistry and the sync. You have to be with the right partner who matches the same energy as you and the various tricks and aromatic moves performed, should be done with utter precision and maintain a proper contact with the partner.

Winner's Jam!

Even though this style dates long back it has not lost it's mystic and is often performed in the huge world competitions. This video was held in Moscow in Russia. This is while the Winner's Jam was going on at the end of the competition. Here many couples perform and take turns in a kind of “popcorn” style where they take the stage and impress the judges.

The real dance!

When the song starts the first couple that steps on the dancefloor. Their rhythm is unmatched and they take the whole crowd with their style. Their dancing makes you realize how the dance hasn't lost it's mystic yet!

The couples who participated

The first couple did the two one-armed cartwheels in a row! That is something unusual to see. The man then spins the woman and lifts her high up in the air and her vault over his arm. Yet there are many dancers to go. And the next couple comes on stage to show their talent and they freeze on a cartwheel. And then the next!
