The world is breathtaking and sometimes, even pictures fail to prove this to us. Our human brain cannot comprehend how the visuals of this earth are so mesmerizing. Take for instance these pictures, you will find it hard to believe that this is a reality.

BLUE LAGOON!

This pond may seem too real to be true, isn't it? The image that surfaced on the internet a while ago is that of a pond with high copper sulphate proportions in the basin. This causes the stark blue color of the water. Swimming in such a water can not just cause skin diseases but also other ailments. There are quite a few places like this around the world, in both high altitude and tropical regions. While it has its own hazards, no one can deny that this place looks truly spectacular!



THINNEST BUILDING!

The Gateway Building is a 37 floor structure located on Beach Road in Singapore. Turns out, this building was designed by American Artist I.M Pei and is a set of twin towers - Gateway East and Gateway West. Termed as paper-towers because of the extremely paper thin illusion when seen from a particular angle, these towers are truly a marvelous piece of work!

HUMAN SIZED BAT!

An old photo from Philippines resurfaced on Twitter recently. This photo shows a large bat (We mean almost the size of a fully grown human) hanging upside down on a wire. Seeing this, the world went crazy again! Endemic to Philippines, this animal is actually called the Giant Golden - Crowned flying fox. While its body is usually the size of any other Asian fruit bat (maybe slightly bigger), the wings can open up to 5.5 ft in size, making it appear way larger than usual!



JURRASIC FEET!

This image of a Cassowary feet went viral on social media where people claimed that it looked like the feet of dinosaurs. However, the truth is it is the feet of a indigenious bird called Cassowary from Papua New Guinea and Eastern Oceania. These birds cannot fly, similar to the Ostrich and their attack element is their feet that is scaly and quite sharp!

We all have been curious about this at some or the other point in life right? This image however makes it so unreal that its not even funny. Also known as the Green Arboreal Alligator Lizard, the Mexican alligator lizard is an endangered species from the highlands of Mexico. Their color patterns range from tea blue to emerald green. Needless to say, they look so attractive for a reptile that it almost seems unreal!
