Art is open to interpretation. However, the artist often leaves behind some secrets in his art that unless explained can seldom be deciphered. Some avid art lovers guess it right, but in most cases, secrets remain hidden, long after the end of the artist. Take for instance the mysteries of these seven historically important pictures - they are still undeciphered!

THE STAGECRAFT!

The Artist Laura P created this painting based on a photograph that was taken by James Kidd. Now, the photographer claimed that when he took the photo, there wasn't anyone standing near the stagecraft. However, when he processed it, strangely, there was a man standing on the left of the wagon.

When Laura recreated this image, she too believed that it was haunted. The painting strangely has led to a lot of weird, unnatural occurances that only lead to one conclusion - the painting is cursed!

THE CRYING BOY!

Italian artist Bruna Amadio famously made 65 portraits of crying orphans that he sold to tourists after WWII. However, one of the portraits, called The Crying Boy, seems to be cursed. The story behind that particular portrait is that the artist made the child cry forcibly by lighting matches before his eyes. Poor kid. No wonder this portrait has caused atleast 50 fires across Britain!

THE RAIN WOMAN!

Ukrainian Artist Svetlana Telets created her work The Rain Woman in just 5 hours, the quickest she has worked. However, all buyers returned it stating that it gave them the creeps. They complained of anxiety attacks or insomnia, while some even claimed that they felt like they were being watched!

THE ANGUISHED MAN!

The artist is fairly unknown but he is said to have created this painting with his own blood. To all its owners, the painting has brought only evil thoughts, anxiety, depression and suicidal tendencies. Thus the previous owner, Sean Robinson's grandmother kept it hidden in order to protect the family from its "evil" instincts. Today, it still remains hidden in a location only known to Sean Robinson, the present owner of this painting!

THE HANDS RESIST HIM!

Bill Stoneham apparantly created this picture based on his own childhood, but suitors have often found major troubles with the art. The artist has explained that the doll is a guide to the dream world behind the door. However, it has never brought in peaceful dreams in the house that it has been it. People have claimed that the kids in the portrait move and fight at night, strange noises come out of it and the owners have complained of headaches and anxiety too.

THE PORTRAIT OF SPANISH GENERAL BERNARDO DE GALVEZ!

Hotel Galves in Galveston, Texas is a best known for its ghost stories and spooky incidents. This portrait of Spanish General Bernardo de Gálvez hangs in there, and has infamously spooked out even the most strong hearted guests. People claim that the portrait seems like it is staring at them, even when they are walking away. Strangely, when they take a picture, the same doesn't come across at all making them believe that they are probably hyperventilating!
